Personal vacation for the year

I think I'm going to make one of my new year's resolutions be that I take a 5-day vacation this year. I already feel like I need one. To take a 5-day vacation, however, requires saving up 5 days of vacation. I did it once, I think? Last time I checked, I was at 7.8... hours, that is... right now I'm just happy to be out of the negative!

I also have around 3 or 4 vaca days already accounted for throughout the year... possibly liver-destroying weekends that I have to attend so my friends don't kill me... and they will kill me if I don't go... by way of harsh e-mail chains. Yep, these are my friends. Well actually they might kill me anyways. Don't get me wrong, I look forward to these weekends, but wow do they take their toll.

One vaca day is in Chicago for a birthday party. Over St. Patty's Day weekend.

One is for a bachelor party over a weekend. In Vegas.

Seriously... are these actually vacations? I want a tropical location for my supposed five-day getaway.

And a sunburn. And it's hard for me to get a sunburn.

And snorkeling.

And other things that will make people jealous when they see the pictures.

Damn it.
