merry xmas

Mandatory post, I suppose. Not much to say other than I'm loving the wintry mix of hockey, trodding through snow between bars, psshing at moron drivers, and a few extra days off. Of to the xmas festivities...

The month ahead

It's packed full of fun. Four days off, two days on, five days off, three days on, two days off, three days on, four days off, five days on, then birthday. Uhhhh yeah, it should be quite a ride.

Lucky again?!

So my apartment complex has a monthly drawing for MN sports teams tickets, you are entered if you ask to be entered on your rent envelope and are eligible if your rent is in on time. Earlier this year I won Timberwolves tickets, a $250 pair. Well I must have a horseshoe tied to my ass, because I just won again. Seriously, either nobody ever enters this drawing or I am one lucky duck.

Wiped out

Wow. Three action packed nights...

Friday: Played Rock Band, an upgrade from Guitar Hero to include vocals, drums, and guitar. Super fun. Highly recommended. Tons of fun.

Saturday: Got a weekend workout in, a rarity lately, good to have. Went out for a friend's gf's 30th, started with a surprise party and then to downtown and then to an a-bar. We started at 6 pm, and ended at 4 am +/- 1 hour. Yikes. Yikes. Lots of fun. Hell on the body.

Sunday: Hockey, semi-finals. The game got out of hand, fights ensued, two went to the hospital on different plays, the cops got called, the game got called. At least we were ahead when the game got called... championship next weekend... but yikes.

Pretty sure I'll be taking it easy next weekend... but only pretty sure
