What a weekend.

I won't say I feel older. That's just wrong. Let's call it... more mature. I feel more mature after this weekend.

Friday was wedding rehearsal and dinner. A little exhausting after a long work week.

Saturday was the rest. Congratulations to my sister and new brother! 832984 pictures taken, tux on from 11 til 5 am, 2389743 friends/family/familiar faces/new faces met and revisited, wedding party responsibilities, an impromptu speech (yikes), a bunch of dancing (forced and unforced, ha), tanqueray/beer/champagne/beer/shots/beer/shots/beer etc., 1 am bar move, 2 am decline to go back to hotel, 3 am rock band, 4 am mac 'n' cheese, 5 am sleep time. The biggest mix of happy/responsible/fun/crazy in one day to date I think. Yeah, pretty sure it was.

After a work customer dinner and 10:30 hockey game, I'm the definition of worn out. This concludes one hell of a first quarter of 2008. I think I'll quiet down for the next few weeks at least. Think.

Rollercoaster

Personally, things are good. Can't complain.

In other areas, things are difficult. A real life lesson hit me in the face and made me grateful for my position as others are not so lucky. I really have no idea where things will end up in this situation, but I hope for the best and I'll do whatever I can to help.

Sister is getting married today! Gonna be a long day, gotta go.

It's good to be back

Wow, that was one hell of a flu. It took a good four weeks to completely get over it. I would work out and still couldn't seem to get to 100% speed in hockey, and now I'm over it and am feeling great. My urge to take full advantage of my weekends is back and I'm back to full speed in hockey. It feels great.

Other than my sister's wedding coming up, it's work during the week and fun on the weekends. We'll see what I come up with for spring and summer plans... I foresee a few big events.

Vegas #6 and upcoming

I think at last count there was a total of 15 of us. This could only mean fun. It did.

I'm not in the mood to provide a ton of details, but here's a quick rundown. One of my best friends got engaged. I couldn't be happier for the both of them. We got hooked up by one of our friends and got into Foundation Room at the top of Mandalay Bay. Extremely exclusive, lavish, and what a view! (and expensive). Had a blast at ghostbar, again. Still my favorite bar in Vegas. Great view, fun people, fun crown, good music. A lot of prime rib, a lot of free drinks, and a lot of great company made for a great trip. It sure wore me out, but wow was it worth it. I don't know if we'll ever get 15 people together for such a trip again.

Upcoming is my sister's wedding in just over two weeks. It's gonna be great. I can't wait. I'll try not to cry...
