Still on that rollercoaster
It's hockey bye week, which is both relaxing and dangerous as I don't want to get out of a rhythm. I'd have to say I've really been pushing myself to the limits in having fun, and have started to slip a bit in the fitness category... that just shows how much I need hockey in addition to loving it. But yeah, I'm having a lot of fun in my free time lately. I've been asked to go to Vegas in April, May, and July by separate groups, what do I do with all of these opportunities for fun? I really have no idea if I'll make it to any of those, we'll see.
My biggest decision in front of me currently is to move or not to move. Staying here, I have some rude neighbors above me that really get to me sometimes, but I have affordable rent, underground parking, a dishwasher, and all I have to pay for really is electricity. If I move to Uptown, I'd be closer to the things I like to do on the weekend (Calhoun, restaurants, bars), but it would be a few bucks more and I'd have to part with either the underground heated parking or the dishwasher. Yeah, the dishwasher doesn't seem like much, but oh, how I loathe doing dishes... especially if I want to cook a big meal. I've gone from 20% to 50% to 80% to 50% chance in my mind that I'll move. I have until the end of the month to really decide. Move out day would be June 1st.
And the rest of the rollercoaster ride is one of those things I'm not supposed to talk about here. So I won't.
In the meantime, I actually have some TV to watch the next three nights, Wild playoff, The Office, and Wild Playoff. I've also been reading nothing but Vince Flynn novels... he's a Minnesota native that writes fictional page-turners involving high-concept political intrigue. If you think you'd like something to that tune or something labeled post-9/11 thriller, I highly recommend.
Okay I'm rambling... enough for now.
